How to enable Javascript and Cookies
In order to use the configurator, you must have your browser set to enable Javascript and cookies.
Below are instructions for each browser.
Internet Explorer 5.x, 6.x
- Select "Tools | Internet Options..." from the main menu.
- Change to the "Security" tab
- Click "Custom Level..."
- Scroll down to the "Cookies" section.
- To enable Cookies: Set "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" to "Enable" and Set "Allow per-session cookies" to "Enable"
- To enable Javascript, scroll to the bottom to "Active scripting" and click the "Enable" radio button.
- Click "OK"
Internet Explorer 4.x:
- Click the View menu and select Internet Options...
- Click on the "Security" Tab at the top.
- Click on the "Custom (for expert users)" radio button down the bottom.
- Click the "Settings..." button
- To enable Javascript, scroll to the bottom to "Active scripting" and click the "Enable" radio button.
- To enable cookies, Select "Always accept cookies"
- Click the OK button down at the bottom.
- Click the next OK button (down the bottom of the Internet Options page).
Internet Explorer 3.x:
- Click the View menu and select Options...
- Click on the "Security" Tab at the top.
- Check the "Run Active X Scripts" box and click OK down the bottom.
AOL Browser
- Click on "Settings" tab at the top and select "Preferences".
- In the "Preferences" window, select "Internet Properties (WWW)".
- Change to the "Security" tab
- Click "Custom Level..."
- Scroll down to the "Cookies" section.
- To enable: Set "Allow cookie that are stored on your computer" to "Enable" and Set "Allow per-session cookies" to "Enable"
- To enable Javascript, scroll to the bottom to "Active scripting" and click the "Enable" radio button.
- Click "OK"
Netscape 6.x
- Select "Edit | Preferences..." from the main menu.
- Select "Advanced"
- To enable: Select "Enable all cookies" or "Enable cookies for the originating web site only."
- To get a prompt: Check "Warn me before storing a cookie" and select "Enable all cookies" or "Enable cookies for the originating web site only."
- Click "OK"
Netscape Communicator 4.x:
- Click the Edit menu and select Preferences...
- Click on the Advanced "Category" on the left.
- Check the "Enable JavaScript" box on the right and click OK down the bottom.
- To enable cookies: Select "Accept all cookies" or "Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server"
Netscape Navigator 3.x:
- Click the Options menu and select Network Preferences...
- Click on the "Languages" Tab at the top.
- Check the "Enable JavaScript" box and click OK down the bottom.
- Cookies are enabled by default. There is no way to disable cookies.
